Il est principalement d\u00e9termin\u00e9 par votre masse maigre (muscles, organes).<\/p><p>Effet thermique des aliments (ETA) : 10% de votre d\u00e9pense. Dig\u00e9rer co\u00fbte de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Les prot\u00e9ines ont le co\u00fbt digestif le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 (20 \u00e0 30% de leurs calories) \u2014 c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;une des raisons pour lesquelles les r\u00e9gimes riches en prot\u00e9ines facilitent la perte de poids.<\/p><p>Activit\u00e9 physique totale (APT) : 15 \u00e0 30% restants. C&rsquo;est l&rsquo;investissement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique \u00e0 long terme le plus rentable qui soit.<\/p><h3>Levier 2 \u2014 Les prot\u00e9ines alimentaires<\/h3><p>Augmenter les apports en prot\u00e9ines de 15% \u00e0 30% de l&rsquo;apport calorique total augmente la d\u00e9pense journali\u00e8re de 80 \u00e0 100 kcal via l&rsquo;effet thermique. Ce n&rsquo;est pas spectaculaire, mais sur un an, \u00e7a repr\u00e9sente l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de 3 \u00e0 5 kg de graisse.<\/p><h3>Levier 3 \u2014 Le NEAT (l&rsquo;oubli\u00e9)<\/h3><p>James Levine (Mayo Clinic) a mesur\u00e9 des diff\u00e9rences de NEAT allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 2000 kcal\/jour entre deux individus de morphologie similaire. Se lever toutes les 30 minutes, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer les escaliers, marcher en t\u00e9l\u00e9phonant, se tenir debout : chaque micro-d\u00e9cision s&rsquo;additionne.<\/p><h3>Levier 4 \u2014 Sommeil et chronobiologie<\/h3><p>Une restriction de sommeil de 1 \u00e0 2 heures r\u00e9duit le m\u00e9tabolisme de repos de 5 \u00e0 20% le lendemain. Elle augmente l&rsquo;app\u00e9tit via la ghr\u00e9line et r\u00e9duit la sati\u00e9t\u00e9 via la leptine.
